Thinking I'm the only 1 on here without a blu ray player. I use the PS4. Also have a PS5. I binge tv shows 24/7, and still hasn't tore up

Last couple of orders from Amazon the delivery map shows nothing like not the movement of the truck or anything. I wonder what's wrong.

I don't have a stand-alone blu-ray player, either. I have a PS5, but I don't think I've never used it to watch a blu-ray movie. I use streaming to watch movies and TV shows.

Wasn't sure whether to put this in Pet Peeves or in here (a bit mild for Vent your anger). It's something you get used to, pollen appearing on the car during the spring and summer (occasionly in the year there is also Saharan dust), but it's a bit annoying when the car has been washed.

Today is/was the last public holiday in England that I know of until late-August. Always find the week dosen't feel like normal until Wednesday.

I have a region free blu-ray player but mainly use a PS3. I haven't played games on it in years so consider it a blu-ray player.

Um, I think you hit a wrong turn somewhere. This is a physical media forum, chief.

.
We’ve had crazy pollen levels here as well. I’ll wash my car only to see it covered again a few hours later. I also avoid keeping the windows down so the crap doesn’t blow inside my vehicles.

It’s gotten better thanks to all the rain we’ve received.

We've had a good amount of rain today which will help, including with any pollen.

I see blu ray players all the time at Goodwill for like $10 bucks. But I want a Region Free. 4k Blu Ray DVD player. I don't have streaming. No licensce so only time I leave the house is Dr's. So right now I'm in the habit of bingeing tv shows on disc til like 5am 😆

Regarding life:

Every single decision I have made from the time I graduated high school (2006) has been a mistake that I regret.

The only thing that keeps me alive are my two wonderful children (they I do not regret, but I do regret marrying their mom, so that's messed up?). If it weren't for them I would have no reason to be here.

I'm sick of the constant everyday struggles I have, regardless if it's career, love, or just having a lack of any social life.

I would absolutely LOVE to pick up and move far away, hit the reset button, but I can't do that. So

That's where I'm at. Sorry for the darkness.

I get it. I already shared with you my story and my thoughts about living your best life. All I can follow up on is that happiness doesn't look for you....you have to go looking for it. Change is the only thing in life that is constant, you can embrace it or allow things to remain the same...it is ultimately your choice.

I've chosen to not marry and have kids and I think it's the best decision I've ever made. I'm 51 and have a great job that I've held for 30 years - don't know if any of that would've turned out different had I gotten hitched, all I know is that I'm perfectly happy with my current life status. I have 4 siblings and all of them have had horrible relationships (only one married) and are quite unhappy. I get to go home at the end of a long day to no one except my TV. No one tells me what to do, what to eat, how to dress. I'm not saying marriage or even having kids are completely off the table, just that it's not the kind of life I've needed or wanted.

How are people actually buying houses in today's economy? Jeeeeeeez. I'm tired of paying nearly $2000/mo for rent on a 2 bedroom, but I can't seem to get approved for a small house. I make 60-65k/yr, 750+ credit score, and have more than 20% down. I've found houses listed online well under $200k that I should be able to afford but Lenders and selling agents aren't even returning my calls, its frustrating but I'm clueless about real estate so I can't do this on my own.

Aren't you former military? Why are you not trying to get a VA loan? You don't need to put anything down...just pay the VA fee. Then use that 20% you have saved up for closing costs, even pay a few "points" to get a better rate. Been in banking for over 30 years, so if you have any questions, I might be able to at least answer them. (My experience is on the commercial side of lending, not residential mortgages, but I could still offer some advice).

With my VA loan, I was able to buy a house worth around $275,000, with a credit score in the low 700's and I make a bit more than you do...so it should be possible.
