I agree with you on all points. I actually hate Michigan (second most hated team behind Notre Dame) but they beat a good Notre Dame team. It's still very early and Michigan will have to keep winning but I have no problem with them being ranked after this weekend. We'll see how good they are in a couple weeks when they have to play at Michigan State and at Iowa (Iowa's homecoming game).

Also, no chance Barkley wins the Heisman. The award is Tebow or McCoy's to lose, and there's plenty of other guys ahead of Barkley. Barkley isn't going to put up huge numbers and they'll be a run first team. I think Joe McKnight is the more deserving player than Barkley. He was great on that last drive.

Is Oklahoma State not good, and they beat an even worse UGA team?

Or is it possible that Houston (which should be ranked higher than OSU --- that's crap) is actually good?!

I think it was a letdown game for Oklahoma State. They won a huge game and forgot that they still had 11 more games to play. Houston is also a good team though, especially on offense. Oklahoma State's defense was known to be suspect and Houston exposed it. I wouldn't be surprised if Houston's coach Kevin Sumlin gets considered for big jobs after the season. It is stupid how Oklahoma State is higher in both polls than Houston, especially in the coaches poll where Oklahoma State is 17th and Houston is unranked.

Anyone think Florida is going to run up the score on Tennessee this week? They likely want to teach Kiffin a lesson after he talked about beating Florida at his introductory press conference and later accused them of cheating (which was untrue and Kiffin was later reprimanded for). Florida made signs and placed them around the football facilities with Kiffin's quote "looking forward to ... singing 'Rocky Top' all night long after we beat Florida next year. It will be a blast."

They will probably try to run the score up. Not sure if they will though as Tennessee's defense is really good, they just get no offensive support. I do believe the score will be lopsided, even though I am a Vol fan, but I think it will not be as easy for FL to run it up to a ridiculous amount. Hopefully.

1) If possible, Florida would run up the score on an all-girls football team and have 0 regrets about it.

2) I think UT will surprise Florida and give them a run for their money. While Florida has had this one circled for awhile, so has UT.

But I dislike both teams, both coaches, and the color orange, so as always, I'll be watching this one knowing both teams can't lose.

I dunno, I watched allot of the UCLA game, and tenn looked dismal. Going into the swamp I think they are going to get rocked.

IMO, I don't think it will be a matter of simply running up the score. I think they'll win big just because UT won't be able to stop them. Granted, UT is improved over last season, but look what happened when they played a real team and not a team in its first (I'm pretty sure) season as an FBS team. And when you consider how an unranked PAC 10 team handled them, how will the #1 team in the nation control them at home?

I just don't see UT making it respectable unless Eric Berry has the best day of his football career.

lol, yeah I'm just worried about that OSU at 11 ,they are now in sneak mode and if they can win out everyone else will be playing each other + the conference championship games , we might have to watch them again Jan 7th.

I know but I still don't want to watch them lol... it seems like everyone on the talk shows are conveniently leaving out the 12 starters lost, the CB who was ineligible, Mays hurt, the QB a freshman + getting banged up. Just like in 06 when texas lost 9+ the two starters who got suspended. We know how that season ended lol, thats where I thought it was going towards the end of that SC game.

It would be a real shame it should be a big12 team and a SEC team, or two SEC teams lol.

I gotta say man you really make some silly points with some of these excuses:USC lost 12 starters. And. That is not an excuse why the game was close and they were losing. Well Ohio St. lost 13 starters. 7 of those were drafted in the first 5 rounds of the draft. So it's not like Ohio St. was playing with some experience advantage. A lot of those players didn't start last year especially at the skill positions. Posey, Boom Herron, Saine, Sanzenbacher.

Also Mays and Barkley being hurt was during the game and is part of the game. Just stick with analyzing the ACC.

Give Ohio St. credit for playing above what you expected them to play( I wasn't surprised at all) and stop making these lame excuses about injuries and not having certain players anymore.

And I did give the OSU lines credit they played exceptionally well, but neither team deserves to be in contention for a national championship game(this year). I expected them to win and was shocked they didn't.

But that number still isn't 11+ the punter + Shareece Wright + a hurt qb + Mays PLAYING WITH A SPRAINED KNEE! Hmm sure that didn't affect his 4.2 speed

It is stupid to think that any team should be catapulted the way BYU was because of one win.

Should Oregon State have been ranked ahead of USC or behind Penn State at the end of last season? I mean, they beat USC and got killed by Penn State, who was thrashed by USC.

Its basically fandom in the polls, None of the grit and grind teams really get noticed, and none of the loses get taken into account properly.

The game would be twice as good if they lost the polls and did a playoff.
