I love all well-done 3-D, but if I loathe a film I won’t buy it in any dimension.

You did not just say that! Wild Robot will always ALWAYS be superior than anything from those Jackass films. You need to ban yourself for that statement.

I haven't seen The Wild Robot but there's no way the 3D is as good as Jackass 3D's.

Isn't Jackass a movie about young men who do stupid stunts and often(?) injure themselves? I'll confess this holds no attraction for me, if my summary is correct, regardless of the 3D. But, that's just me...

That's right, but it fits the 3D format unbelievably well. You have to see it to believe it. The impact cannot be appreciated in 2D.

No, but the disgust factor can, and in 3-D it’ll be even more nauseating.

Really hoping for Wild Robot - a charming film that's really enhanced by the 3D

I am not doubting your assessment of how well it fits the format and so forth. I am sure it is accurate.

For me, though, when I see (typically) young men engaged in moronic and usually destructive behavior, I fear for the future of civilization. I feel almost as though watching such content makes me lose IQ points. I just won't do it anymore.
