False analogy. A bad game that you never play doesn't interfere with the good ones like that scenario.

It's not a false analogy, you are moving the goal post. Your original post said "no bad game shown" and now you changed it to "A bad game that you never play." I disagreed with your original position, I don't disagree with your updated position.

Besides, I didn't say it took anything away from the other games. I rated the show 10/10, then the game about a guy in long johns trying to take a crap was shown again and I struck that rating. The show was pretty good in spite of BS.

And who knows? Even though we both called it bad, it could be good! Apparently it almost made the presenter barf from laughter, I'm sure that is a ringing endorsement in some language.

I assumed from the beginning you would never play it, so I see no goal post moving. The turd in the meal is a case of the bad item interfering with the good stuff; a bad game can only mess with you if you choose to play it, so I found it to be a false analogy. And "Enthusiasm killed" with the 10/10 crossed out kinda implied it took away from the good stuff.

Doesn't matter as my plans are set: I'll play Tactics and Bloodstained, avoid Baby Steps, probably play Metal Gear and Silent Hill, and I'll see how I feel about the others after seeing some gameplay vids.

Seeing the Final Fantasy Tactics remaster finally be announced is great, because it's yet another good reason to think that the IX remake is next in line, and could be announced very soon. Hopefully during the Summer Game Fest stream on Friday, but it could also be announced on July 7, the day that marks the actual 25th anniversary.

Exciting times!

How fitting that those are the initials of that game! Christ almighty, what on the spectrum, Aspergers developer came up with THAT dumb concept??? I turned to my wife and said "they really are desperate for new ideas when something like that gets green lit!"

Thanks! Its things like hypersensitivity to loud or strange noises, things touching his skin like shirt tags, or rough materials. Underdeveloped motor skills for writing, tying shoe laces, buttoning shirts, etc. Plus he sometimes has trouble regulating emotions. He's very "fight or flight" in that he can go from calm to very upset in a second with zero build up. He's actually made a lot of progress and on track to graduate from OC at the end of the summer. My wife and I are just trying to exhaust every non-medication alternative because we want to avoid that if we can.
