My is still stuck in preparing to ship mode from Target

I got that, too, with the only difference being they did it for the stupid PRO CONTROLLER and the actual console hasn't even shipped.

Picked mine up from Walmart this morning.

I ordered a Switch 2 from Wal-Mart and one from Target. My Wal-Mart order shipped and says it will be here tomorrow by 8PM. The one from Target has been "Preparing to Ship" for the last two days. I also ordered a pro controller from Wal-Mart but it got delayed. Thinking of just cancelling it and buying one for store pick-up at the local Best Buy since they have some available.

An hour after they opened my closest Target still had a couple left.

Walmart order was delivered before 7:30. Just the console.

Scored Bundle at 8am at Target was 13/20 and they still had not sold ANY standard consoles. Didn't even get to store until 7:45am

Target/Best Buy etc all had a great policy this time around. 1 per person in person pickup ONLY. Websites would not let you order for ISPU.

Got Pro Controller, Wheel and Mario Kart Bundle. -- Kiddo B-Day present for September is secured.

Hit up Target this morning. They had about 60, couldn't get a number of consoles vs bundles, they seemed confused by the question.

Managed to get a bundle but they had zero accessories available, just a bunch of plushes (junk).

I am in a bit of shock right now. I figured I'd be playing later today after picking up my unit from BB. But Walmart wasn't having any of that. Just after 7am, this showed up at my door:



They ended up delivering it directly from a local store. Never thought Walmart would come through like that.

Not sure I approve of it in an open bag on the porch ....

I woke up at my normal time today, checked the Target website and saw they were in stock at my local store. Logged into work and thankfully there were no emergencies, so I headed out to Target and scored the second-to-last bundle and second-to-last pro controller. They still had about 20 of the regular consoles available. A surprisingly convenient and stress-free new console launch for me, and a nice bonus to get 5% off with the Target card.

Anyone who didn't preorder go to Target today for in-store purchase? The website says all the stores around me are in stock but I don't want to drive there just to be disappointed by a long line or incorrect status.

There wasn't a line at my store, although 4 people did show up right after me. I say go for it! You could very well emerge victorious.

Turns out there was a long line at my store and the employee wouldn't answer my question about inventory. He just expected me to get in line so I left. According to their website, the bundle is gone so I would've been standing in line for 20-30 minutes for no reason.

OMG yes...

I did not even see that just the corner of the box.

Be happy that they didn't do what the one Gamestop store did where they stapled customer pre order receipts to the box and punctured all the screens

Only about 30 ppl in line at Costco. The guy in front of me (allegedly) didn’t know about Switch 2 and says it’s like this on a normal day, so maybe I’ll be lucky.
