But like you said the story is still really good especially 1-3 (got a little weird 4 and 5) judgment story isn't the worst either

If i enjoy the mechanics and have half decent random fills, i don't think i mind a decent learning curve and of course my main motivation is just to finally experience the story of the game. Seeing trailers and some gameplay stuff i always liked the look of this and one of the few Xbox games that were exclusive i wanted to play tbh. Mass Effect 2 released after the first being exclusive and eventually came to PlayStation but still need to play that but i do want to see them release more if this sells well. Tbh, it might even be the sales being good which could lead to a proper remake even.

After this goes down to 29.99 or less, I'll give it a try on PS5. I figure if I waited all these years to play it, a couple more years won't hurt but it's great news for PS5 and gamers to finally get Gears of War remastered on PS5 this August 2025.

I think the reloaded might be more balanced especially early on with lots of new people/ first time ps exposure so might get some fair games.... Right now if you fired up Gears UE to get acclimated to movement, maps etc. it its nothing but hardcores playing on stacked teams..(I literally just saw a team and group of people I hadn't seen for 5 years on there now lol)

I haven't played since 2020 when we'd scrim with the e-sports guys and it was 24/7 tryhdrds (which is fine for me lol) but defiantly not a gauntlet I'd want someone to go into MP wise to come away feeling good about the series
