Anyone know anywhere else besides Amazon I can find this? My Canadian friend was gonna Amazon prime it to her house and then bring it when she sees me next week, but she forgot to order it in time and now the price has doubled and I'm kinda butthurt about it since you guys are saying the audio track kinda sucks.

Would love to pay less than $20.

Thanks for this thread!!! I didn't even know they'd put it out on Blu-ray!! Checked Amazon.ca ... and it's $13.99 with 8 copies remaining.

So has anyone bought this recently and found out if those rumours about the english language track being pulled off the disc were true? I used to love this movie as a kid and want to buy it off Amazon but if it's french only I'm not going to bother.

I just got back from amazon.ca and, while the disc is back in stock (or so it says), it also states that "this item will not ship to your location (ie the US)". I've been noticing this lately with amazon.ca in regards to them not shipping to the US anymore. Does anyone know why this is an issue now?

Note: I'm not referring to 3rd party sellers, but amazon.ca themselves.

Was this a US print or a Canadian print? Because it would be interesting (but not rare, Dumb and Dumber was edited on video before being extended for DVD) if New World edited the film down between the theatrical and home video releases.

This was an “imported 35mm print”, direct from La Fête. I’m suspecting that these scenes were included in the original theatrical run in Canada, but cut for pacing / mood when the movie hit home video.

I received the disc directly from Amazon.ca earlier this week and it shows the English audio track on the back cover.

IIRC, this one (or both including it's sequel) is 1080i and had some compression and grain removal issues (that likely stem to the restored master the rights holders have on hand).

It looks like it's available on DeepDiscount right now and also Wal-Mart website.

The DeepDiscount page has it labeled as DVD, but the cover art is blu-ray obviously and I can attest that their given UPC number matches my blu-ray copy.
