Just to be clear, I don't mind fake dinos per se. My main problem is, that is your ONLY draw. No one goes for characters and storytelling with this franchise. For example: Okay, so Rebirth is just gonna ignore Dominion now? I'm sure Rebirth will address Dominion. My point is, you don't sense a sense of consistentcy between the two. Over relaying on "dinos" to bring butts into the sits, when they keep getting faker and faker with each new installment.

I see your point. A good story should be number 1, yes. People going to get DNA for medicine on a deadly dinosaur island, not the most original idea here in Rebirth, but if they have crucial stakes where a main character needs to do this to save their loved one, then it makes for a better film I hope. In the trailers, I didn't see any sign of that. Seems like "Let's get this to save lots of ill people". That's not a direct impact goal, other than making money as mercenaries to protect scientists.
