Default What Looney Tunes Shorts Are On Blu-ray?

Since this has been a recurring question in these forums, I figure I may as well take the time to list off what Looney Tunes cartoons have been officially released on Blu-ray. A total of ten Blu-rays have been released, this thread will attempt to list off exactly what shorts are on which Blu-rays.

Note that shorts that are not restored (e.g. bonuses) will not be featured. This list will be updated as new releases come out and more of the shorts become available on Blu-ray. Also, shorts that are featured as bonuses on Warner Archive Blu-ray releases, even if they are restored, won't be listed here.

Thank you very much. It will be handy to have all these in one place. From what I've gathered if you have the Golden Collection DVDs it makes sense to keep those as well.

Yes, there's a ton of cartoons on those sets, that honestly, I just don't see making the cut on these Collector's Vault Blus (anything Bosko/Buddy, a lot of the racier or more culturally insensitive cartoons like Crazy Cruise or Southern Fried Rabbit).

Making such a list would be a little trickier as WAC has been known to alter or remove bonuses before release - remember when Sahara Hare was supposed to have been on the Land of the Pharaohs Blu-ray?

I'm glad they're re-issuing Platinum Collection volumes 1, and 2 as there's a ton of great cartoon shorts on both volumes.

How many Taz shorts have we gotten so far? Just wondering as there were 0 of that characters shorts on any of the Collector's set volumes 1-4.

I'm also hoping for some Marvin the Martian shorts in the future I love a lot of those shorts so much. Who's with me!!! We need some more Marvin the Martian love from WAC either this year, or next year.

All five Taz cartoons (and all five Marvin the Martian cartoons) are on Platinum Collection 1.

I think those war cartoons are probably going to get released at some point even a few of the cartoon shorts with short blackface scenes too.

What cartoon shorts from this list minus the Censored 11, Book Revue, Hiawathas Rabbit Hunt, What's Cookin Doc, and China Jones do you think will actually get released on Blu-Ray by WAC?

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...f=true&sd=true

I'll add my spreadsheet here which shows all shorts on disc from the major US-friendly releases. The yellow cells on the full list show the best place to watch them. The bottom has tabs for each release/series. Episodes with gray text can be skipped as they exist on a different release (usually Blu-Ray instead of DVD but also double dips). Any feedback or suggested corrections is appreciated.

Some notes:
-"Major" collections include: Platinum Collection, Collector's Choice, Collector's Vault, Bug's Bunny 80th, Mouse Chronicles, The Golden Collection (DVD), Super Stars (DVD) and Porky Pig 101 (DVD).
-Episodes exclusive to Warner Archive release bonus features are not included. These are typically early shorts without any major characters.
-The Japanese "I Love Tweety" DVD releases are not included. There are currently 8 shorts yet to be released on a US-friendly disc: The Jet Cage, A Street Cat Named Sylvester, Tree Cornered Tweety, Tweet Zoo, Fowl Weather, A Pizza Tweety-Pie, Hawaiian Aye Aye & A Bird in a Bonnet. You will need a region-free player for these to work.
-The Stars of Space Jam DVD's are not included. There is only one short that is not part of a major collection (Boston Quackie).

another puzzling decision by WB why didn't they put this 8 shorts on Looney Tunes Super Stars' Tweety & Sylvester: Feline Fwenzy instead of being 100% golden double dips, it would have made that disc much more attractive for collectors too

Did the shorts on I Love Tweety get any clean up? Maybe that’s why?

I think those war cartoons are probably going to get released at some point even a few of the cartoon shorts with short blackface scenes too.

What cartoon shorts from this list minus the Censored 11, Book Revue, Hiawathas Rabbit Hunt, What's Cookin Doc, and China Jones do you think will actually get released on Blu-Ray by WAC?
I could honestly see Frigid Hare and Bushy Hare showing up at some point. Even Mississippi Hare, since the offending scene in question is so brief.

According to the (unsourced) Looney Toons wiki entry, these restorations from 2001 were apparently heavier on the DVNR and only done in SD, while the Super Stars restorations were completed in HD. All the shorts have now been restored in HD (some as streaming only, currently), but presumably they weren't back in 2010.

Thanks so much for the spread sheet. Terrific resource.
