Are there any Blu-ray players that can play MKV Atmos files? - Blu-ray Forum

None of the sony or Oppo ones I have tried can. Only 7.1 audio.

I have lots of MKV files with atmos soundtrack and I am sick of converting them to m2ts. Would prefer just putting on a USB stick and playing. Cheers.

Current LG TVs can directly play Atmos from a USB stick.

Zidoo is not a blu ray player but you are asking about playing MKV files which it does well without any conversion. The older ones like my Z9X do 3DMKV without modification. It also has several USB ports.

Dont know. I do not have have a LG player.
