Given what happened with Kingpin I’m worried that Dumb and Dumber would be the crummy extended edition on 4K and the theatrical on blu-ray or not at all.

EDIT: Got it reversed here. Kingpin theatrical is in 4K.

Kingpin has the theatrical cut in 4K and HD, extended in HD only. Dumb and Dumber is Warner, so it could only be Shout or Arrow if it's licensed. Most likely would be seamlessly branched.

I wish Shout Factory still has the rights to Amityville 1-3. Would like to see 2 and 3 on UHD.

Me as well. I thought when VS released 1, they would follow up with 2 and 3 after, but it's been three years since their Amityville release and nothing. Wonder who has them?

Yeah I was expecting the same. Especially since Vinegar Syndrome released the TV Amityville movies and Amityville Curse. I did notice a weird pattern of past Amityville films release on DVD and Blu-ray. In 2000, MGM released the first film on DVD but did not release 2 and 3 (Along with the original in special edition format)on DVD until 2005. In 2008, the first film was released on BD by MGM and it was another 5 years before SF released 2 and 3 with the original on BD in 2013. I hope the UHD release doesn’t follow the same pattern otherwise we will not see 2 and 3 until 2027 lol.

Besides, the TV slashers box set, it has been a poor effort on the slasher front from all labels so far this year. We were getting them at a steady pace, but they have dropped off a cliff in favour of the HK mania it feels like.

Way too many slashers out there that still need a release.
