WEDNESDAY:

I can't believe it's Thursday tomorrow already!!!

I just pre-ordered Thunderbolts because I guess I like to torture myself with this "every movie" Marvel collection of mine.

I still...technically...need to get Kraven...but....ugh.

See ya!!!

I did as well. Though, I got a full head of hair. In 3 years it will have been 30 years since I shaved my head. I'm thinking about doing it again. I'm just not sure how well it will go over with my boss.

Healthy but my goodness they went downhill.

Trying to get caught up. Had a lightning strike that killed my cable and it took them a few days to get me up and running again. I was better off with Starlink.

Too bad the lightning strike didn't hit a tree with a few small, furry friends in it.

LOL. The guy had to replace a few of the components in the box installed on the side of my house. She was fried. He was making a lot of noise and I kept thinking it would scare the squirrels away.

Cane's box combo today. Sorry to hear you had a lightning strike. Although as soon as I read that I started singing the Aerosmith song. Zip gun Johnny's finger is itching. Oh the lid's gonna blow up in hell's kitchen...

I golfed last night for the first time ever

Wasn't pretty, but I at least was making contact with the ball.

Now I'm going to look at youtube training videos.

What kind of clubs are you using? I always recommend one of those starter sets. I still hit the ball farther with my cheap starter set driver vs. my $600 Callaway...

Yeah I'm using this set of Top Flite clubs I bought (cheaper entry clubs) I bought several years ago from Dick's on a Black Friday sale.

I like to challenge myself by completing a round (9 holes) without losing my ball. It's only happened a few times but it makes me feel like a pro. The water holes can make or break a person. If I end up in the woods, I will come out with half a dozen balls sometimes which is funny. Of course, none are mine!

I missed the buzz cuts I got in the Army so much I've basically been shaving my own head every 2-3 weeks since my barber retired in the early 2010s. That one upfront cost of $30 for a pair of quality clippers has saved me $25/mo in barber costs

I only lost 1 ball, and it was on the 8th hole. This course doesn't have much water or even bunkers.

About to put on The B-52's Cosmic Thing and revamp my website. I got the home page/entrance page done. Now I need to do the rest of the website. I feel it's too cluttered and needs reworking.

I played golf once. It wasn't pretty either. I make contact with the ball as well. However, the ball goes no further than about 3 to 4 feet. I have better hitting on women.

Water holes would not be an issue with me. I can't get the ball far enough for it to even go anywhere. Much less in the water. Did you and Bizcat know that Mike Mills and Bill Berry from R.E.M. are huge golfers. They've both been in Golf Digest. Mike made it on the cover once. The other members could not understand how those two played golf. They found it so tedious and dull. They're not wrong. The joy of golf is not in the playing of it, but rather the peace and quiet from being on the green. Some of my best memories are of me on the golf course with my dad. I never played. I just sat in the cart and watched. It was so serene. A really sort of zen place. Almost up there with record stores and movie theaters.

Truth. I cut my hair as well and have probably saved thousands over the years.

Add me to the list as well. Been doing it for over 20 years now. I don't shave it completely, just keep it short. Easy to do with clippers. How much $$ I've saved over the years, and apparently it has more than doubled in cost since I last went.

And cordless Wahl clippers FTW! Cuts like a hot knife into butter.

Just ordered this from Walmart.

The 4K is back in stock for $15, so kind of a no brainer.

Also worth mentioning that the Kingdom of Heaven 4K Steelbook is back in stock at Target & Walmart for $40.
