Worth checking out if you like dinosaur and giant monster movies. Really good pacing once they get to the raft onward. It was like one of those theme park amusement rides. Entertaining with a lot going on at each turn.

The 3D Cliff scene, that was great and lasted a good few minutes. Not as great as GI Joe Retaliation 3D's strong 3D cliff scene, but very nice here even so.

A little bit of Journey 2's style here for the movie and 3D too.

I have enjoyed this movie 3 times now - only once in 3D - but I did notice that the scenes that take place in the dark look a lot darker in Dolby Cinema, it's like GE was trying to really push the Dolby Vision range to the limit.

Normally that would be bad news for the 3D version, but in that version the darkness isn't even remotely as, well, dark.

The 3D is an awful lot of fun, on top of a movie that is itself almost the very definition of old-fashioned fun.

That sounds like a nice theater. Cinemark, at least the one I go to, also does a great job making night time scenes look brighter and easy to watch in 3D.
I agree, fun 3D and a fun movie in general.
