When the 360 came out, I was stunned.

XBox I/O: DVD in, 1080i component out

360 I/O: DVD in, 1080 component out

To me there was something very wrong with that picture.

There were something like 4 games that were 1080i for xbox. The moto-cross one was the best one I think...

I have got a question...If I buy the best of Blu-ray pack, does that count as 4 disks sold or just 1...because I want acouple of the packs but not if it is not going to count every disk..I may as well buy 3 disk individually for the same price and it count for BD. Most of the packs I want have 3 movies I want and one I dont care about...

It is one SKU so the box set will count as 1 disc sold.

That really sucks because I am SICK of all of this format war crap!!! Sick of hearing about it, sick of people not buying because of it and stunting the growth of the format, sick of the whole lot of it. I just want all of my movies on Blu. Anyway, its hard to pass up saving money but I mean if I buy two or three of the best of sets and it counts for 3 disks instead of 12 thats pretty stupid.

Anyway, I know that is just how they count it to keep track but the dragging format war is so stupid and makes me want to buy seperately to possibly bring this thing to an end sooner.

Im sure there are alot of people like me who share this same feeling of its a great deal and will buy these sets. But then we end up with only 25% of the disks sold. If 50,000 of these box sets get sold that is 200,000 disks. Makes a BIG difference.

These are Warner, right? So even if it doesn't count as multiple discs in Neilson, presumably the revenue effect will be known to Warner as an internal matter.

I bought Troy today at Best Buy. When I got home I noticed the case was cracked, so I took it back. They refunded my money and I went back to the BR section and picked up another one and bought it. Now does this count as two sales, or does the computer void the first one? I'm talking as far as Neilsen is concerned. I'm just wondering because if they count twice, with all the returns of HD DVD combo's for freezing and whatnot that could possibly skew the numbers.
