And all the special features are carried over from the original sets?

Any reason as to why the UK set is just the first four seasons?

Yes, they all appear to be clones of the original discs.

I'm interested in getting the Kirk Alyn serials set. Is the original 2006 pressed release safe from disc rot (it's right on the bubble of Warner's rotting era of DVDs) or should I just get Warner Archive's DVD-R reissue? Or should I hold out on a Blu-ray?

That's how I feel regarding the 1933-43 Popeye DVDs and the Tex Avery's Droopy set. I'd rather not have to worry about rotted discs, but I'm iffy about the DVD-R copies.

I had to go the Warner Archive route on both thanks to disc rot.

Shipped in a bubble mailer, the box art torn on the spine, and ripped on the front top corner. Amazon refused to simply exchange it for the same item. They want to just refund it instead.

Also kinda weird that the discs are stacked. I like the disc art and shelf space saving and lack of disc rot. But what an odd release.

There's a Looney Tunes box set at Walmart right now that's three or four previous box sets stacked inside one keepcase. I think it's the Platinum Collection but I'm not sure.

This isn't uniform, but it's also something that WHV and WAC have done before.

I’m fine with blu rays being stacked since they have that protective layer. DVDs are a different story

To anyone that owns the original 4 sets, do you have a images of the liner notes showing all the episode and extras information that you can share? The complete series box doesn't have any of that. Thanks.
