Definitely a choice, but I am assuming they want 4K, because the blus are readily available as well.

It looks like scratched discs aren't Shout's only thorn on their side - Fade To Black is plagued with loose discs and ripped slipcovers, as is Ace Ventura. Dude from Atomic let me know when I reached out to ask for a replacement for Zombie, which I cancelled. He's not even carrying Ace Ventura because of it. QC continues to go down the toilet.

Not sure what Atomic is or who its proprietor is, but he hasn't reached out to us for replacements.

In fact, we haven't had any complaints about damage/loose discs for either of these titles.

I've personally found this past year-ish all of my Shout/Scream titles to be scratch free. I know my experience isn't everyone's obviously, but I USED to get NON-STOP scratched discs, lately it's been much improved.

Tried to get it to happen this year, but just didn't get anything put together in time.

Will SDCC 2026 be the year the slate announcement makes a comeback? I sure hope so.
