I "thought" of a creative way to use Vudu Lists to track multiple services/accounts.

...what I'm doing is setting up a lists like the following in my main Vudu account.

Anne Vudu - Complete TV Series
Anne Vudu - Unique Movie Titles
Sandy Vudu - Complete TV Series
Stan Microsoft - Unique Movie Titles
Stan Amazon - Unique Movie Titles

This could be done for virtually any account excluding titles/studios unique to a specific service (like Arrow Video in iTunes).

That way if I look a movie up in my Primary Vudu account and don't have it I can quickly check if it exists in any list.

This won't replace my tracking spreadsheet but I do find it helpful.
I've been trying to do this specifically but I don't know of a reliable way to catalog my iTunes collection or even sort them by studio.

If you have access to iTunes on PC or Mac you can use it to create a list of your iTunes.

Open your movies in "list" view
Ctrl A (Cmd A) to select all
Ctrl C (Cmd C) to copy all
Open up a copy of Sheets, Google Docs etc
Past the copied data to your spreadsheet

That's a pretty great start, thanks for the tip!

Annoying...

... both that I need to create lists to highlight my purchased 4K titles (there should be a filter allowing this) and that I need to create multiple lists (the max of 200 items per list needs to go).

Just wait until you hit 200 in one of the lists...

I did. Thus the need to create a 2nd and move some subset of titles across to the new list. (188+13=201; 200 isn't the problem; it's that 201st)

edit: p.s. And, again, I'd prefer to not have to create lists for my 4K titles at all, but only have to do so because VUDU doesn't offer "Max Purchased Quality" (UHD, HDX or SD) as a filter option.

But now you're only 12 A-T titles away from needing to redo your lists for a second time.

Yes, but I didn't have the time to deal with a more 50/50 breakpoint of #-L/M-Z, at the moment, so this will do for now.

Since I’m b**ching… 100 lists max is another stoopid limit. (But, yes, current limitations are better than no lists at all.)

No functional change to Lists on VUDU after the Roku app update. Still 100 lists and 200 items per list maximums.

Only notable Lists-related change is that the first 10 lists are displayed as rows on the main “My Vudu” page, though a list won't be displayed if it is empty (reducing the number of list rows displayed, accordingly):
[My Movies][My TV Shows][My Lists] (navigation shortcuts)
Recent Purchases (thumbnails for 5 most recent purchases, redemptions or active rentals)
Continue Watching (thumbnails for viewing-in-progress content, goofily displaying program runtime for each title rather than remaining time)
My Rentals (thumbnails for any currently active rentals; row omitted if empty)
Wishlist
{List 1}
...
{List 10}
(1 row for each of first 10 entries in My Lists, not displayed if empty)
[Manage All My Lists] (shortcut button to My Lists]
My Movies
My TV Shows

Suggested in the vudu beta survey about letting us pick a single picture for the folders in lists but they didn't do it. Maybe next time.

Recently saw someone mention that they could still add individual TV episodes to their “My Lists” lists via a Fire Stick (IIRC). I believe I responded that this ability has been lost within the web browser and in the Roku VUDU/FaH app.

I can’t find that comment, so am posting this here … You can also still add individual TV episodes to your custom VUDU lists via the VUDU/FaH app on Chromecast for Google TV. (And they’re accessible and playable via the VUDU Roku app.

p.s. FWIW, still stuck at 100 lists and 200 titles per list.
