Since V3 had a special booklet covering the first 12 films, maybe V6 will have a booklet that covers the next 12?

So apparently a standard edition of Volume 1 now exists.

I'm not sure how much more standard that edition could be to the original release which was just four amarays in a thin cardboard slipcase.

I'd say it's likely one single Blu-ray case with flippers.

No reference to it on ViaVision's site but Sanity notes Vol 1 as being orderable again on the original stock code. Possible it's just an identical repress.

Cover art has changed slightly both on Amazon and at Sanity (the 4 disc reference at the bottom right corner) so I would assume it is in a single case now.

If it is I'm slightly jealous as those 4 big boxes and counting take up a frankly unacceptable amount of shelf space.

From what I have read elsewhere it is a single slim box with the 4 discs inside.

They do seem to be reissuing in this format once the original LE boxes sell out.

Given only volume 3 had the thick booklet of reprints of the promotional booklets from back in the day I assume that will be omitted from that one's reissue.

I'm actually considering downgrading to the standard edition for space reasons.

Amazon UK has standard editions for vol 1 and vol 3 listed and showing in stock but no sign of a standard edition for vol 2 (that I can see anyway).
They also have a 4 volume bundle for £160 but it doesn’t state if they’re all the limited editions or a mixture of limited and standard.

If you check back in the thread volumes 2 and 4 are still in print and available as LEs so you need to wait until those sell out to get standard versions.

I have all the LE. I was just commenting on the new standard releases.

The Amazon description for volume 1 confirms the slim packaging: 2025 Slimline Blu-Ray release (note new packaging). Same with volume 3.
