What email address have people been using with Umbrella, who have been successful at procuring a Caligula replacement 4k disc? Are you just using their regular customer service general email customerservice@umbrellaent.com.au ? Or a different email address?

I still need to submit for my 4k replacement disc, pronto. Been procrastinating far too long on this.

Yup. That's the exact address I used. Like I said, I did have to send them a pic of the disc, but still pretty fast response overall and I bought it from Orbit.

I finally fired off an email for the replacement disc. I also bought mine from Orbit. I included pics of the disc and the 4k set packaging, and my Orbit invoice all in one email, so they should have everything they need, right from the go. Fingers crossed!

I contacted them a couple of weeks ago about a replacement disc and they created a new $0 order for it. I had an order for Wake in Fright which they've just shipped but didn't send the Caligula replacement disc with it, which seems a bit odd considering it would have been cheaper. So no idea when they'll ship it.

I'm popping in my replacement disc for the ultimate cut disc 1 this morning and wanted to mention that the number on this disc is "DAVID4969/1-R" as opposed to the original disc which was "DAVID4969/1" in case anyone is like me and can't remember if you swapped out your replacement disc or not. Now, on to some sadism with my English muffin!

Just received my replacement disc yesterday in the post from Umbrella as well. Shipped safely enough in a funky little rectangular box, not a scratch on the replacement disc. I'll spin it tomorrow night.

I'm glad Umbrella did the right thing and came through with these replacement discs.

Oh, it's complicated.

Really the best UHD of The Ultimate Cut is Umbrella's replacement disc which is FiM encoded, but theirs is OOP and they still haven't announced a bogstandard release that I'm aware. Maybe try and acquire the OOP release and reach out to Umbrella about getting the replacement disc?

As for the original film, it seems the best-encoded version is the French BD from 2013 or whenever, but the subs are forced so if your player can't remove them, you're screwed. The original film has since surfaced in Germany and Australia, but the audio is borked on the Aussie disc. The recent German release apparently fixes it, so if you don't mind localised text (both The Ultimate Cut and the original have German titles in favour of the English original), maybe grab that one.

I don't see it on Umbrella's website, but OrbitDVD in the US has what looks like a standard edition up on their site advertising the corrected disc.

Umbrella has this back in stock right now. Not sure how long it will last.

I had emailed Umbrella about the replacement disc in February. I was told I was added to the list.

I then didn't think about it much, figuring it would take a while to manufacture and ship and all that. Then I realized that I was about to hit six months since that email, so I decided to follow up. I received no real explanation, but an order to send the disc was created.

So, if you're still waiting too, you may want to nudge them.

The corrected Umbrella 4k UHD of "Caligula: The Ultimate Cut" looks fantastic. Man, the sets and costumes in this movie are to die for!

I'd be very surprised if they weren't. Orbit DVD are selling the same standard (slipless) edition and that's specified as having the corrected disc.
