That bottom ones are the same consistency (flat) as what I received inside my snack wrap.

So my day was going well and I hit Starbucks for a refresher. I get back to where my car was parked and a guy approached me asking if that was my car. He said someone hit it and drove off. Another person came out and said they got their license plate.

It turned into a lovely afternoon.

I called the police and nobody answered lol. So I called 911 instead which was a bit overkill but a cop ended up coming. He just gave me an incident report # and that was it. No photos or follow-up instructions. Guess they don't really care about this stuff and he won't be chasing the person down.

My insurance will hit me with a $500 deductible. So I'm wondering if I can just not file a claim and get a local body shop to sand the bumper and re-paint it. People suck.

Oh well, one more day closer to the weekend... and another day closer to my daughter's last day at camp, we haven't talked in just over 2 weeks. I'm feeling like I lost my best friend.

I would avoid any claims or check to make sure it wont up your insurance rates.

I remember Selects.. those were when I used to work at McDonalds (I was a high school student at the time). Those were good.

The new ones I find good, too, as I feel they have more seasoning on them. But man, if they aren't fresh, forget about it. I guess it's been to long for me to compare them to the taste of the Selects.

Which goes to my next thought... a chicken tender. Besides the sauce, is there really that much variation between tenders, aside from fresh oil at optimum temp/timing?

I have another cardiac rehab session today and as soon as I get home from that exhausting workout my home nurse will be giving me an injection into my abdomen. The shot by itself costs $121,000; you'd think something that expensive would make for a pleasant experience, but a needle into the gut sucks no matter the designer label.

Ha! PLEASE!!! That's amateur hour boys. Yesterday, Pest control came to start the 3 week treatment for bed bugs. They showed up at 2:53 pm. I had to leave and be out of the house for two hours. So, I decided to go to a 3:50 showing of The Naked Gun. While I was still there, I saw them using some sort of canister stuff on the couch along with what looks like their regular routine spray. The same stuff they use and I've used. Before I left though, I was told to wash my sheets. I had already done that and told them so. They were rather insistent about it, though. I left, came back to get my hearing aids, and waited in the lobby before calling an Uber (it was too early at that point to get one). I ordered the Uber after pest control left and had been gone a bit. That was at 3:13 when I ordered the Uber.

Suffice it to say, I think they were only here 10 minutes treating my house. That seems awfully short considering all I had to do to prepare. When I got home I made the decision (against my better judgment) to wash the sheets. As I didn't want to screw up this whole process and have to start over. The thing is my washing machine is off track and wobbles when in use. I've been avoiding using it until the handyman/contractor comes to fix it and do some other things. The first load (the fitted sheet) went fine. It wobbled and spun like nuts, but it worked. As I was drying that up, I put the next load in (top sheet and pillowcases).

That's when all hell broke lose. My washing machine went through the whole cycle without so much as a noise. That's because it quit working on me. The laundry never got washed and the water was still in there. I tried to get it started back up again, but that only made things worse. Now the washing machine is filled to the top with water and could overflow if not careful. So, I told my stepmom* who gave me the number of a repairman. I called and they are coming out today. The cost is $139.00, but that is only for diagnostics. If they repair it, it will cost me more. The $139.00 will go to cover part of the cost of repair. WHOOPEE!!!!

On top of that, I went to get a shirt out of my small suitcase this morning and couldn't find any. I had packed some I was going to wear so I wouldn't have to go through the trash bags (LONG STORY). Then I remembered that I had some in one of my dresser drawers. I forgot all about getting those out before pest control came. The dresser drawers have to be all cleaned out and all clothes must be in trash bags. The guys from pest control didn't say anything about that drawer of clothes while they were at the house. Though they did mention stripping the sheets off the bed. So? Well, this leads me to think the following:

1. They are not doing a VERY thorough job.
2. I didn't have to move EVERYTHING out into my dining room.

This really ticks me off because I'm not sure they're doing THEIR job to be sure the bed bugs are not be killed off. Also because I probably didn't have to do all this crap beforehand that I will have to put back up. I'm so mad. I feel like I'm being taken for the biggest ride. It's like that slapping scene in Airplane. Except it's my ass and I'm being plowed. It's going to be a month or more before I am through with all this mess.

None of this would be that totally tragic, if it weren't for one TINY LITTLE DETAIL. This week is my birthday. HAPPY F----ING BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!! I know everyone's got their problems and that's life. But it's seems like it's just pouring in my life and never ends. It's hard to see the other side of happy when you are this dumped on. So, i sit here while the repairman is here working on my washing machine.


*my dad and stepmom bought this place for me. I pay rent and it is technically mine in the sense that I won't be kicked out or anything. But when it comes to issues like this I need to consult with my stepmom to get approval, see about costs, and all that jazz. I am reminded of something my dad said in the last year or so before he passed. He told my stepmom, I believe, to be sure that I am taken care of. it's times like this that I remember what my dad said. It kills me to no end thinking about it. I am so screwed and so broken that I need total help. and not in the therapy way of things. If I didn't have my family, I couldn't survive on my own. That's what I take away from that comment.

What's worse is how I feel about it. I feel like such an ass and a HUGE burden to my family. To everyone really. I hate it because it makes me think that I am dragging everyone down in this whole mess. Even more so, it makes me feel like everyone WOULD be better off if I wasn't such a coward and went ahead with leaving for good. They wouldn't have to put with supporting me and such. Do not worry though. I just need to let this out from time to time.

Not sure if it’s a good idea to have coffee before visiting the doctor and having blood work performed. Hopefully it went well.

Stopped by a local body shop to see what it would cost to fix my hit and run damage. He quoted $1350 and that’s not even replacing the bumper .
