My first shot at a VHS case. Had a lot of fun doing this. Hopefully more to come in the future.

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy cases itself? I already have my favorite show that ended up getting re-released in a complete box set and would rather just have the cover/digipak itself but technically I don't need the discs again.

I mentioned over in the Creepshow thread how I thought it'd be neat to have a Steelbook of the black blob from The Raft with some planks over it on the slip. I decided to test it out with what I had on hand and I'm pretty happy. I'll be remaking the slip with clear sticker paper for the final one.

Random question. I'm looking for a blu-ray 4k slip box. Ideally, I'm looking for a rigid slip box to match my Halloween and Friday the 13th Shout factory box sets, but I"m looking for one that will fit the 3 new Halloween movies. Ideally, I'd want to put all 3 in there in their slipcovers.

I'd be open to commissioning someone for this as I'm coming up empty on Etsy, etc. If there is anyone that does these, let me know. I'd be open to just a black box, or one that has simple artwork on it specific to that Halloween trilogy only. It doesn't have to be anything crazy.

Anyone out there in this world that has any ideas? Feel free to PM if you have found what I'm looking for or if you're a maker.

You should check out Blockbuster Boxsets on Etsy and Facebook. He's been making stuff for a while.

Just for clarification: You want a rigid style box to hold the newest Halloween trilogy (in their slipcovers) and none of the other movies?

I've got into doing hardboxes, only problem is I can't afford to commission any artwork so I don't post much on etsy

Stephen King's IT hardbox I did recently

Has anybody ever made custom slipcovers for Vikings Season 5, Volumes 1 and 2? They're the only volumes in the whole series that don't have either slipcovers or slipboxes and it's so annoying.

I think they use something close to a 110lb cover cardstock, but then they also double over the front and back.

Does anyone have the dimensions (or template) for a UK-sized slipcover (14mm spine) they could perhaps share?

I've been working from a template, but when I print out in actual size the dimensions are off, so would just be keen to check with another, reputable source.

EDIT: Found what I was looking for further back in the thread, with thanks!

What do you use to make the hard boxes?

If you're looking to match what the studios use, it seems to be 50pt chipboard. But you'll want to use the type that has some type of cover sheet on the top and/or bottom to prevent it from being flimsy.

[Show spoiler]
