How can you watch a movie 12 times (in a short span) and not get bored? Serious question

I think Blubee is a robot and simply does a threepio-esque mind wipe after each viewing. That has to be it.

Dude, seriously, when a movie is really good, there is no such thing as watching too many times.

Most of us adults have to work lol let alone see a movie 12 times in a cinema. I'd be bored of even my favourite movies if I watched them 12 times in close succession. I feel the majority of us probably would get bored too. However most of us probably have a lot more going on in our lives than going to the cinema 500 times a month.

This may sound cruel and I don't intend it to but hearing people see a movie at the cinema 12, 15, 20 times just sounds like they have a very specific mental health issue.

I would say it’s the opposite. Doing fun stuff is always great for your mental health

Now, fun-shaming, on the other hand… I dunno…

Comic book movie threads here are a trip. Superman and this film has fans defending their studio and its millionaire CEOs. I don't think any of them give a flying about people caring so much for the box office.

That, or they're very young. I'm sure we've all heard stories, or have been subjected to it ourselves, of children watching some Disney movie on endless repeat. "Really? Frozen AGAIN?"

Im honestly curious too, how can an adult see a movie so man times in a theater, if they have a job or a family or kids? When I was single for 7 years, I still had a full time job and school, I love movies and games and fangoria and books. But I never had tons of free time, I would go out on the weekend's to bars and clubs, but everything had to be pre planned accordingly. Now i have a fiance and a kid on the way, but i am genuinely curious? How do single people with no kids see a movie every month 20 times in a theater, it seems almost implausible... Like where is the time for reading, or walking or working out, or socializing? Im really confused

For the crime of seeing a movie multiple times in theater. The Bluray.com Tribunal says you are guilty.

Agreed, but I get the sense that for some, being on this forum IS their socialising.

I wonder what kind of business this movie would've made if:

[Show spoiler]We never learned that Robert Downey Jr. was going to play Doom at Comic-Con 2024, and in this movie's mid-credit scene the camera panned to reveal RDJ's face.

You already know what kind of pop theaters would have, and despite people/articles wanting to spoil everything today, there would still be enough other folks egging on their friends to "absolutely see it in theater" without revealing this at all. Sometimes a promise/tease of a big cameo is enough.

Hell, my sister just watched No Way Home for the first time last month, and had no idea Tobey and Andrew were in the movie. Some people are just unplugged from certain Internet and social media circles.

My brain is definitely wired different that others. I like to wait at least 2 or 3 years before I choose to watch a movie again.

Plus there are so many movies I want to see that I have not seen yet.

If they keep that routine up, their fat ass won't fit in the seats.

But it’s costing you a little over $50 per month for both memberships.

Regal you can see as many movies as you want but not the same movie twice in one day

AMC used to be 3 but now 4 I think per week but better theaters.

Do you really need both? Well since it’s you, I guess you do.

There's a Reddit user who claims to have watched 127 Hours over 300 times. She also claims to be autistic. Another one swears they've seen Bones and All over 100 times.

The last time in my life I had the disposition and the free time to watch the same movie over and over again - at home; at the cinema it was always unthinkable - was when I was a child. It's hard to fathom an adult of sound mind being so compulsive and free of obligations.
