First of all, good luck to the England womens football team in the Euros final on Sunday evening/night.

Secondly, I checked recently to see when the Women's Super League's new season is starting. I thought it was going to be late-September, but having done a web search it's starting on the weekend of Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September (if correct, highlights show The Women's Football Show will be back on Sunday 7th September).

Congratulations to the England Womens' football/soccer team on winning the Euros last Sunday evening/night.

The new Championship season starts a week on Friday (8th August) with Birmingham City vs Ipswich. West Brom's opening game in the Championship (against Blackburn Rovers) is a week on Saturday (9th August).

A good start to the new season last Saturday afternoon (won 1-0 at home). Lost the EFL game against Derby County last night (went to penalties), which doesn't bother me too much as I feel we need to concentrate on the league. Next Championship game is this coming Saturday lunchtime, away to Wrexham.

Good win for West Brom this past Saturday lunchtime/afternoon (3-2 away to Wrexham). No game is easy in the Championship, but next Saturday afternoon's game against Portsmouth will be a tough one.

To get a 1-1 draw from playing Portsmouth is a good result. Next game (next Saturday lunchtime/afternoon) is a Midlands derby against Stoke City.

A new season of highlights show The Women's Football Show starts on BBC One next Monday morning (8th September), technically Sunday night, at 0.30 am - 1.20 am.

The Women's Super League's new season kicks off this coming Friday night (5th September) with Chelsea v Manchester City.

West Brom got a good result against Stoke City last Saturday afternoon (a 1-0 win away).

Next Championship game is against Derby County a week on Saturday (13th September). After losing to them in the EFL Carabao Cup a few weeks ago, hopefully it's a win this time (playing at home).
