Missed opportunity in The Batman. Should have showed him surfing to Gotham Square Garden to stop the Riddler goons at the end when the shore walls were blown up.

Nolans trilogy nailed the serious Batman for me. It dod everything it needed to for a more grounded version of the character. I would be very happy to see another film in the tone of Batman Forever which is very underrated I think.

There is a serious lack of FUN in franchises now.

Just the opposite for me. Batman & Robin was unintentionally funny, at least the first half of it, which is quite rare for big budget Hollywood productions and I enjoyed it. And it's always a treat to see Arnold making fool of himself. Then again intentional camp, like Toxic Avengers or Sharknados don't impress me much. Too much self-conscious calculation involved.

Some of these takes on Batman are *chef's kiss* especially coming from people who are obviously fans of Batman in cinema and not necessarily Batman in general.
