AMAZON AU

Has anyone else NOTED that there are price differences btw the item and what it shows in your basket ??

I noted thay CANT STOP THE MUSIC 4K a few weeks ago had a few $ higher once in the basket....

and now AFTER HOURS BLU is $34.27 but once in the basket its in the final page its now $37.31

added - ANDREI RUBLEV (Criterion) - item is $42.85 - then shows on final page as $47.15

WHAT GIVES ??!!

Not sure where else to write this but buy a ton of stuff from zavvi and today I log in to see where my orders are as had some arrive yesterday and a few was close , I also have a few old orders to be released and many pre orders but when I log on today I have nothing no past or present orders with Zavvi at all.
Now I don’t know what’s still to arrive or how close to delivery it is, and where all my orders have gone, is this just a small glitch or should I be concerned?

Anyone else have this?

You can check your email for order history
I don't know if it's a glitch or not (haven't been to Zavvi for ages)

It was a glitch it started to work not long after, which was strange it would have been there lose not mine if they closed my account as I have a lot of orders with them and buy from them regularly.

Does anyone here, despite having an Amazon AU account and Prime membership, still order through the Amazon US site? Do you have issues doing so?

I just placed an order for Hostiles 4K through the US site.



It doesn't show up when searching the AU site, but it does when searching the US site. It's shipped by Amazon US, but sold by a third party. Am I correct in assuming that's the reason it won't show up when searching the AU site? They only show international items both shipped and sold by Amazon directly?

Despite having to pay for shipping (because my Prime account is Australia), it still cost less than half of what I can find it elsewhere (eBay, etc).

Thought I'd take the risk.

There are MANY MANY titles that you can't get via the AMAZON AU site.. when coming in via the US site...

I bought this title a few years back & likewise had to purchase direct from the Amazon US site. If I remember correctly though it was sold & shipped by Amazon US.

At present, I order occasionally via Amazon US directly (2-3 times per year). Mostly for pre-orders (e.g. The Mandolorian S1-3 4K) or when a title can’t be found OR is cheaper on the US site (e.g. Seinfeld 4K). Before Amazon AU came onto the scene, I used to order frequently from the US site. Never had any major issues with them, apart from less then stellar packaging.

Is anyone else disappointed/annoyed that we're not getting the 4K releases of Master and Commander and Kingdom of Heaven? I'm going to have to spend a fortune to get these from overseas.

Saw so many great films on the strength of his recommendation. I could always trust that if David gave a film 4 stars or more, I would enjoy the film (Couldn’t trust Margaret like that).

A man of his convictions. Will always remember how he refused to give Hostel a score ‘cos he essentially called the movie out as torture porn.

For any younger film aficionados out there, you can check out repeats of The Movie Show on SBS (stream), and they also play on World Movies, if I’m not mistaken. Fascinating reviewer. Always entertaining.

I’m disappointed every time I have to import a title ‘cos it’s Disney/Fox.
It’s a reminder of just how f*cked up that company’s decision really is, especially since they’re dizzy who pissed off.
