I watched the documentary John G. Avildsen: King of the Underdogs last week hoping it would have a lot on Save The Tiger but very little sadly (still something for fans). Full of Rocky and Karate Kid crap mostly.
Been trying to watch that doc for ages now but could never find anywhere to view it..Rocky and Katie Kid some of my favorites

It's really worth digging up especially if you like Karate Kid. The Blu-ray is listed by a Marketplace Seller (1 copy $19.99!) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0748QYHSV/ It was removed from iTunes. It's on Amazon UK's Prime https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0751KWWD8/ still too.

I watched Charlie Rose's (whatever happened to him?) interview with Lemmon and he said -always does if asked- that Save The Tiger was very important to him. I think it's beautifully acted and directed maybe Avildsen's finest film.

It's great it's had a new lease of life with 2 Blu-ray releases.
