Yes we can. This is the internet, we have no place for nuance here!

Most likely, only certain shots are cropped.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps 4K Steelbook & Standard cover art have been revealed from Finland. I don't know if the artwork will be the same in other countries. I don't really like the look of the Steelbook. The standard looks better. Links are below.

Steelbook:

Standard:

I would like the steel better if it didn’t awkwardly throw in a filtered still of Ben where the Reed, Sue, and Johnny are all drawings.

They're temporary and a custom. I already recognized them, but I googled them to be sure.

on board. Being somewhat burnt out on the whole Avengers arc. Fantastic 4 feels like a fresh start, new characters. And GALACTUS! Should be a fun watch. Probably won't watch every MCU movie. But this, and especially once X-men gets rebooted. Heck yeah.

Definitely want the Steellbook if it looks like that.

This is the FF done right, really liked the movie.

I can still enjoy the old ones. Fant4stic not so much, even if I do own the steelbook, because it's cool, and was 5 bucks from a Best Buy clearance bin.

It won't. The IMAX versions of MCU films are always D+ exclusive.

(Before anyone mentions Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, the shifting AR version on disc isn't the IMAX version.)

I'm gonna have to make sure to keep up on this one since I missed the superman steel. I still feel there will be a short restock but you gotta be quick with these things.

I’m just curious, why is it not the imax version? Genuinely curious? Are the Dark Knight filmed with shifting aspect ratios or M:I - Fallout discs not imax versions?

I also don’t expect shifting aspect ratios for the Fan4 disc

The GG vol 3 IMAX presentation was 1.90 for the whole movie.

The UHD/BR switches back and forth from 2.39 to 1.85 which was shown in some venues.

Makes sense. I didn’t catch Vol. 3 in theaters. But was ready for it on 4K

Who would have thought in 2019 we would get a new Fantastic Four movie on 4K before 2005 and it's sequel

People who thought prior to Deadpool and Wolverine (2024) that Marvel Studios would never acknowledge Fox's Fantastic Four movies, maybe. By 2019, Fox also wasted three years' worth of opportunities to release '05 and Rise of the Silver Surfer in 4K; including Fant4stic's UHD release and Rise of the Silver Surfer's 10th anniversary.

Of course. They wasted great times to release the first 2 Wolverine movies too. Fox was so strange
