Robocop 2 is okay, but I will never watch it again. I pretend garbage is garbage, and it saves me money. But even you would not own Robocop 3 lmao? It ain't that much worse than the Die Hard after 3.
Yeah, Robocop 3's suckiness pisses me off in a whole different way because it's presented as an ending.

When I'm watching the first Turtles movie, I'm not thinking about how eventually they'll have a time travel adventure and it'll be lame. During Die Hard, I don't think about how John McClane eventually goes to Russia and it's lame.

But when I'm watching Robocop (and even Robocop 2, which I maintain is 70-80% of the way to being a great movie), I can't help but think how the story of this great cynical, satirical, nasty world gets resolved in such an artless, bloodless, boring way.

I don’t understand all the hate 2 is getting just cause it wasn’t dark like the first movie doesn’t mean it was just as good as the first. The third was good my only issue with is the turtle suits.

If they do individual releases, I think there is a chance they might release at least the first TMNT by itself. I don't know about the other two, though. It depends on whether or not Arrow thinks those will sell.

Perhaps they might re-release the first TMNT individually for the 40th anniversary in 2030.

I also wonder if they might do a steelbook release for the first film at that point.

Nobody can say for sure, but I think there's a very good chance, yes.

I think the issue was that they tried to lighten the mood but did so in some pretty jarring ways. Like Shredder yelling "BABIES! THEY'RE BABIES!" when he finds out that Tokka and Rahzar are babies. That and the Vanilla Ice rap. And the very anticlimactic battle against Super Shredder. The kid in me still likes the movie though.

They better release the original by itself...

The Fathom Events screening from last week looked and sounded great. Judith Hoag's legs on the big screen...

In my opinion, Die Hard 2 is almost as good as the first one. The airport was a great location for a Die Hard movie. Several of the main characters returned, William Sadler was a good choice for a villain, and there is some top notch action, including the classic ejection seat shot.

I didn't like Die Hard 3 as much because it abandoned the Die Hard formula--One man trapped in single location against seemingly impossible odds. Die Hard 3 seemed more like a buddy cop film. Not bad, but it's not quite Die Hard to me.

Die Hard 4 and 5 don't exist in my world.

Ok, back to Ninja Turtles.

It was annoying that she was announced to be in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows only to have her cameo cut.

Turtles II ruled when I was a kid, as an adult it's lame they kicked the legs of the first movie out since it has a perfect gritty atmosphere and did justice bringing the B&W comic to the screen and it has a perfect soundtrack. The last time I watched all these movies I loved everything in the first still, thought the second was stupid fun and still love the memes and Keno and thought the 3rd wasn't as bad as I remembered but something about the suits/animatronics looked uncanny valley.

When I was a kid, I really enjoyed the first movie. It at least made a solid attempt to resemble the original comic books. Then when the second movie came out, I heard that Vanilla Ice was in it. And at that point, I was done with the franchise. I saw the trailers and I could tell that it was clearly made for 5 year olds. LoL

I wonder if they will have an alternative track on Turtles 2 that removes all the silly sounds from the action scenes.

Maybe they could include this as an extra on the 4K.

Here's the latest update on the Cody Saga:

Someone named Dan left a 5-star review. It reads:

RoboCop 3, Turtles III and Poltergeist III get way too much hate.
