If ever there was material well suited to 3D it's this. Having said that, I'm not the target audience as my favourite parts of musicals are the non-singing parts and I like a short runtime so I won't pay to see this in the cinema. I still haven't watched the first part and never will unless it comes out on 3D Blu-ray, the same will be true of the second part. That's the magic of 3D, it makes me interested in films that I would otherwise happily ignore.
