Hollow Knight: Silksong

It looks like a clever game, but I'm seeing a lot of hype for this platformer. Is it based on an existing property? Why all of the fuss? What makes this game so special? Is it a sequel to an already great game? I'm out of the loop on why Gamescon said this was a hugely anticipated video game.

Sequel to Hollow Knight, a pretty fun indie game crowdfunded in 2014, released in 2017. Silksong was an expansion announced 6 years ago, fans have been looking forward to it for a while.
