As there is an "other" choice, and I would have gone with either The Thing, Evil Dead/2 or Prince of Darkness, gotta go with "Other".

P.S: lots of excellent "classic" choices missing, which makes the presence of films such as Saw, The Orphanage, The Strangers, Trick'r Treat and Hostel all the more ... intriguing.

I definitely agree that I left some classics off, so for that I apologize. I admit that the horror genre is by far my least favorite, and as such I probably should have left the poll to someone else. The only reason I included some of the more recent ones is that I thought that a lot of younger people would be voting, and as such would choose movies they have seen (i.e. more recent ones). But hey, if someone would like to create a much more legitimate poll I would be all for it!

Man for this category u need a major poll man!! I voted "other" because my fav isnt on the list but if I had to choose from your list I would say "Halloween" Got Em!!

haha well you're the master of polls Czar! I was considering making a much longer list, but I tried to keep it short and force people who chose "other" to post what other movie they thought I was stupid to leave off!

haha I feel u man!! But this is an important category to me and the horror list is huge thats all!! But my fav horror movie of alltime is: One of the Friday The 13th's but not part 1!! I would say Friday The 13th Part 2!! Got Em!!

"Night of the Living Dead" for sure. Such a cultural impact, and it ushered in a breath of fresh air on a genre that was rarely explored in film at the time.
