If it does return to disc, presume this will be the optically censored version from Disney+ and not the as screened theatrical version. We are talking Disney here !

When they updated the Disney+ version to a new 4K scan, the scene was restored in it's uncencored state.

Looking back I paid about £9 for mine November 2017 from the great, funny (yes shops can be funny) and sadly missed beatthebomb.com.au

It was always a cheap title.

For those after one best to keep looking daily especially on eBay UK. The last one sold (just 4 days ago) in the UK for £31.00 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134982545191

There's one for sale right now £90 which I think is too much https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204443022921

UK buyers have always (except for NZ and certainly up until Via Vision/Imprint arrived) been the biggest importers of Australian discs so that's the key. There's lots of Splash Blu-rays in the the UK.

Sorry to bump an old thread everyone, but can anyone confirm with absolute certainty that all the edits are gone in the new 4K version? I remember hearing about the censorship backlash when it was first on Disney Plus, but apparently it has since been remastered. It'd be silly to drop 100 bucks on the dated Blu-ray if it has been properly restored and not the lazy TV edited version. If that is the case then, how does it look/sound? Never seen this and I've always wanted to see one of Tom Hank's earliest roles.

Only Disney sits on Splash. Guys would buy the 4K UHD and Blu-ray for the Hannah butt scene alone (if they don't edit it for the UHD or BD which I hope not). Surprised they even did a BD at all and of course it's OOP.

Pretty sure that's a bootleg.

It is 100% a bootleg. That site sells pretty much nothing but bootleg movies.

Small potatoes. Zoolander only had a small first pressing and some greedy reseller was trying to sell it for $10,000CAD. Got a 2nd pressing a year later and I picked it up for $10CAD.
