Based on previous Hammer titles they go on sale at other retailers including Amazon the Monday after Hammer start their own sales the previous Friday.

Should therefore be available week on Monday.

Diabolik are also supposed to stocking it with ordering available on Monday.

I previously bought from amazon australia - Via Amazon UK , quatermass 2 and the quatermass xperiment, as well as Captain Kronus, without any issues, Am I going to have issues this time, and probably down the line with these Hammer 4k releases in future?

You are RB in Australia same as UK so both the UHD and the BD discs will play for you even with the UHD discs locked it seems on the Warner Hammers.

They should be available from the likes of Amazon UK and Rarewaves, it’s just Hammer themselves not selling this to non U.K. residents.

For The Curse Of Frankenstein I understand that pre-orders aren't available yet however on the listing page it says now to me "This product is not available in your territory" is this another more misleading message that only appears before going live? I am actually looking at this listing using a UK VPN line and default UK shipping address.

By the way, I have ordered both Quatermass releases from their site without any issues so this is a bit of a surprise. Maybe I should contact them.

This Aussie store is taking pre-orders. I’ll probably go with them if I can’t order via Amazon UK.

Hammer Films UK Website will be UK delivery address only in regards to the Curse of Frankenstein when it goes live to pre order on Friday.

This because Hammer Films UK only have the UK rights to The Curse of Frankenstein while Warner has the rights outside UK
Due to the UK rights restriction Hammer Films UK webstore can only accept orders that have a UK delivery address.

Those based outside UK will have to use other UK or USA retailers etc that have the UK release available to pre order for delivery address outside UK

UK retailers
Amazon UK/Zavvi/HMV it’s expected will be live to pre order from Monday September 1st but each retailer may vary on actual day goes live

Well on paper then I should be able to order it though. Is there someone on here who is physically in the UK to check what the message on the listing says?

The Hammer listing says nothing about addresses but it does say:

This release is a UK release only. US and ROW release available from The Warner Archive Collection. UHD discs by default are region free, Blu-Ray discs are Region B.

I'm in the UK and there's no message about it not being available on the listing page for me; just the now revised message about it only being available in the UK:

This release is a UK release only. US and ROW release available from The Warner Archive Collection. UHD discs by default are region free, Blu-Ray discs are Region B.

UHD discs by default are region free, Blu-Ray discs are Region B.

So those reports about this being a region locked UHD was false.

I’ve been watching the Dark Corners reviews of these beautiful sets, and Frankenstein is the first one I’ll be pulling the trigger on.

Dracula and The Mummy will be instant buys as well, and probably some of the Drac/Frank sequels as well. After that, I think I’m sticking to the standard editions. They’re handsome little sets too, with apparently all the same disc features. I’m thinking of blind-buying Captain Kronos, and I’d love a set for Cash on Demand down the line.
