Street Sharks would be fun.
There's one also for:
Toxic Avengers (new movie i9n theaters this weekend I see).
And even the horror film Terrifier with Art the Clown.

Good video with some interesting news about the Golden Axe style inspiration, including this is the developer of the game Final Vendetta. I will need to buy that game as it's been on my list of games to play.

Final Vendetta, prior game from this developer of Masters of the Universe.

How many more of these “Nostalgia Beat ‘em Ups” can they make? My brother and I tried the Power Rangers one last year and, although it’s not particularly bad, I haven’t felt any desire to play it again since we finished it on the first night. That GI Joe one doesn’t seem interesting in any way (doesn’t help that I’ve never cared much for GI Joe but still…) Shredder’s Revenge is the exception but most of them don’t seem to have any unique ideas or depth and they all have the same overdone pixel look.

What, are they going to do a Jem and The Holograms Beat ‘em Up next?

I can hear what you're saying. GI Joe is one of those ideas that isn't a really good match for a beat 'em up game IMO, as it's primarily about vehicles and laser guns, rifles, which are hardly a factor in that game, as a big reason I haven't bought it yet after playing the okay demo.

I've been waiting for a Golden Axe style game, so this is the first one so far with Masters He-Man, which matches the theme well with swords and magic of Eternia characters. They also said this breaks away from those other games in that sense with a different paced combat.

What is also nice is they didn't turn the characters into something not consistent with the original style. These actually closely resemble the Filmation cartoon characters, which is great.
With GI Joe and Karate Kid, as well as that prior Double Dragon reboot, they turn the characters into cute cartoons instead of their original styles of the series/games.
Turtles, that looks good though and mostly consistent with the art.
Haven't tried Power Rangers and just learned about it this week. That got an update where they said it improved the game.
