A new HD-DVD steel in 2025 would be funny.

So the question is, whether the new bonus disc is worth another dip?

Is it really worth getting the box with the Amaray cases when I already have the Digibook?

The question you have to ask yourself is: Well, what if you don't like them? What if found out they were no good? Could they handle that kind of rejection?

Oh, the Digibook's FINE, it's just that I always hear people say that the repackaged one is better. And maybe it could actually fit on my shelf better, because the Digibook I have is in sandwiched in between the Karate Kid Trilogy 4K box set and the Bill & Ted's Most Triumphant Trilogy box set, and it sticks out a little.

Personally, I like this set's look (individually and the big one), but I understand the mindset of not chasing every milestone where they're going to release a newer and better set.

I also understand shelf aesthetics.

It sounds like this works better, so go for it.

TLDR: It's your density...I mean your destiny.

Maybe I don't want the repackaged version after all. It's not worth all that spending for something I practically already have.

Glad I got the Zavvi steelbooks with original art. I'm a big fan of these movies but I will be skipping out on all of this crap. If they release the OG art steelbooks in the US and Eric Stoltz has a change of heart to release all of the footage, then I would definitely buy it again. Hell if they made the entire film with the Eric Stoltz footage with the MJF footage to fill in the missing gaps, that might be my preferred version to watch. It would also make sense story wise because the ES or MJF version could have lost the conception race because of alternate timeline screw ups.

I'm surprised there isn't a grindhouse cut with both sets of footage and something added in trying to explain why Marty suddenly changed part way through the story.

They're also two different versions of Jennifer's as well.

WHY is it so hard to get original artwork for the US steelbooks?? OF COURSE the regular 4K trilogy is getting the individual original artworks, but not the steelbooks.

I'm sure they'll be allowed to put this artwork on the first BTTF steelbook at least.

I like the artwork on the steelbooks, but I don't think Universal will get me to double-dip.

They are really milking it with all these re-releases of BTTF if you ask me.

Are they going to keep releasing new editions every 5 years now? haha

Tentatively pre-ordered the limited edition, but I’ll see if I end up keeping the pre-order. I’m leaning towards the individual UK ones, though.
