Hopefully they got ADV folks like John Ledford and Matt Greenfield. Gen Fukunaga would be cool too; although he has a decent interview on the Dragon Ball Z Blu-rays, it's not as candid as something like this.

I think I remember Justin saying during an Animeigo stream he got an interview with Gen. Someone can correct me if I'm remembering wrong though.

In the October town hall Justin said he hasn't interviewed anyone from Texas yet.

I remember when Tokyopop was the biggest manga label, especially with the amount of books they put out. They also had that Disney license (and apparently still do); they even got manga in my school’s Scholastic book fairs. Shojo seemed to be more their niche, but they did put out Fruits Basket, which I believe is still the number one shojo manga series of all time in the US. They certainly weren’t perfect, but they hold a very important place in the US manga industry.

Too bad their anime attempts didn’t do so hot. Outside Initial D, they did a pretty good job with their dubs, which were always union and cast some solid names. I love hearing Kimberly J. Brown in their Vampire Princess Miyu TV series dub, which also had Emmanuelle Chriqui (years before she was on Entourage) and Stephanie Griffin (who played Himeko in AnimEigo’s OVA dub). They even got Tom Kenney to voice a lead in Rave Master.

No idea why I remembered it as he did. I think someone mentioned Gen during that stream and I remembered it as he did instead of he hasn't. Ah well. Thanks for letting me know.

I remember watching a good chunk of Rave Master around prime time for a while since I was recording it for me and my brother along with a bunch of other shows on toonami,adult swim and the Encore Action anime block. I didn't even know it got bumped to 6am. Always thought that was a series that never got its due and a shame with all these remakes it still hasn't gotten one.

I'm getting an error message when I try to check out on the Media OCD website. It says that the widget didn't load, check my internet connection and refresh the page. I do that and I get the same error message. I filled out the contact form asking for help. Anyone here experience this?

Watched Nasu earlier today and it was nice. I saw that there is a sequel on MAL, so hopefully that's in the works for a future announcement.

I didn’t know Nasu had a sequel. I ordered Nasu with MADOX and some other items from MediaOCD so I’ll be getting it later this month. Excited to watch it. It looked incredible.

My order with the new MADOX release and some Discotek stuff has shipped as well so they probably got both at the same time. Also the tracking number for my Full Moon replacement disc finally moved to "package received", although not from the same warehouse as other MediaOCD orders.
