Whenever I see Uma Thurman in this show, I just remember her as "Kill Bill."

Kill Bill Vs. Dexter? I'd watch that. lol

Holy crap, absolutely brilliant episode!

[Show spoiler]Dexter should've just taken care of Batista.

Great episode, I was on the edge of my seat. I have not been so in tuned to a Dexter season since season 4. They have done an amazing job so far.

Although this isn't a popular opinion amongst Dexter fans,
[Show spoiler]I want Dexter to be caught/killed by the time they are bringing Dexter Resurrection to an end. Nothing will bring me more satisfaction than watching all the lies come to light, an ACTUALbig man hunt for Dexter, he is on the run and ultimately is caught.

Which brings me to the killing of Batista. Wonderful episode, but I hope this subplot doesn't come to an end. Also, I don't want to spend season two with someone else getting suspicious of Dexter to just end up in the same way. I really hope that the murder of Batista gets the ball rolling on Dexter being a serial killer, and if they are only doing 3 seasons of Resurrection, they have two seasons left to bring the show to a satisfying ending.

Having said that and having watched 9 episodes of Resurrection, I'm not doubting the team working on Dexter and I don't feel like they are going to drop the ball on a third ending. They have delivered a great season and I believe they will work hard on keeping the momentum going.

I agree
[Show spoiler] although I believe it should be done to slowly turn the audience against Dexter. Not to stop watching the show obviously lol, but to make him look more unhinged as the protagonist. Which is where I felt like Dexter was going by the end of season 7, until season 8 hit the reset button on everything. Or how Dexter should have become more unhinged after the season 4 finale.

Batista is a nice likable character, if Dexter would have killed him, it really would not have felt "right," which I believe is needed.

[Show spoiler]I agree, but he had no other option than to do it. Cutting him loose did him no good.

As much as I’m enjoying resurrection I really liked original sin and I’m kinda annoyed it’s season 2 renewal was canceled to focus on season 2 of resurrection.

Surely they could have both going. What a shame it's canceled.

Finally caught up with this after being away on vacation over the summer, and I’ve not been disappointed….fantastic new season of Dexter. Having Clyde back overseeing things and Michael in his element as Dexter makes for great TV. Great nods to the past and some top class humour. I wonder which Culkin was in line to play Gemini?
