I for one, love that he didn't include the obnoxious silver bar that announces it's "4k+Blu Ray+Digital" that so many people need to include in their custom designs. So thanks for that themadbutcher!

I wonder if someone here has a template for tmscrapbook's multi-film collections (the ones that say "COLLECTOR'S/SPECIAL EDITION" on top of the front & spines)? I'd like to work on the Dragon Ball movies using that template.

I never made one but I did find some covers (and files) I made on a key drive and found this one, if it helps

also found this cover John Woo films. Figured its timely

I'm trying to put together two Blu-Ray covers for the 17 theatrical DB/DBZ movies (to match the Seed of Might Blu-Ray collection), but I'm having a tough time choosing two characters on the front cover. Who would you pick to headline the movie collections?

FedEx / Kinkos will print your covers for you. Probably faster and, more than likely, cheaper, too.

I really have never done anything like that or would I know what dimensions or anything as far as printing the covers. That's why I would prefer to get someone who has done this before to print them for me.

I guess I'm confused. How did you create a custom Blu-ray cover without knowing the dimensions? Normally it is as easy as taking the file on a thumb drive along with the paper you want to use and ask them to print it.

...and of course Google is your friend if you want to find the dimensions for the Blu-ray art. Of course, these dimensions will vary based on the size of the spine. So artwork for a 15mm spine wouldn't fit in 6mm spine size case (or even 12.5mm for that matter).

If you downloaded the covers from a website, then they should already be the correct size and you just need to print them. You aren't expected to re-size them to make them 'fit' into the case.

As long as you're just printing a standard US case for a blu-ray or 4K movie, it'll fit on a normal 8x11 piece of paper. For reference, the 12mm case dimension is the US standard size.

Yes the custom covers I have are already in the correct format. And yes I did get them from a website. I'm planning to go to Fedex tomorrow and use the print and go Kiosk.

However, I read elsewhere on the interwebs that I should print it using the 11X17 tabloid option. So I actually just need to select 8X11?

If it's a standard cover like I described, then the 8x11 is perfect. There's about 1/4 inch on the sides.

Been trying my hand at custom covers a little bit more. I don't really have the patience (or software I think) to try to make new back covers so I tend to just use what's available on that end. Still pretty happy with these and they'll be on Uncovered.name for anyone who wants them.
