Blu-ray Duke

![]() ![]() Release date: July 14th 2025 All stores currently have an audio commentary and deleted scenes down as extras. However, until the rear cover appears online, I would proceed with caution. EIV's 4K releases of Better Man and Babygirl are barebones, because they dropped BD copies from their 4K titles and guess what's on those BDs? That's right, all the bonus content. Hopefully this has changed... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FB9D6S...d%2C107&sr=1-2 https://www.zavvi.com/4k/death-of-a-...get_id=5287044 https://hmv.com/store/film-tv/4k-ult...h-of-a-unicorn Last edited by Sky_Captain; 06-04-2025 at 01:45 PM. |

I thought the movie was terrific, a blast from start to finish. Jenna Ortega's character is unlikeable at first, just like in Beetlejuice 2, but she gets better as the story progresses.

It would appear to actually have the extras on the UHD, as per this short unboxing video...
Also confirms Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. |

I watched it last week because I bought it digitally and I really liked it and mind just end up loving it in the long term. Jenna Ortega and Paul Rudd are phenomenal together and the rest of the cast is fantastic as well at playing truly odious characters you actively root for horrible things to happen to. It was great to see Tea Leoni back in action and she relished in her part. The music was awesome and Larry Fong’s cinematography is sublime. The design of the unicorns is amazing. It was just a really fun time that I actually would have liked seeing in a theater.

Give it a try and judge it for yourself because I really liked it when I watched it last week and it has stuck with me. It was a lot of fun. The cast is great. Everybody is game. Jenna and Paul are fabulous and so lovable. Tea Leoni is back in action and truly relishing in it. Tea, Will Poulter and Richard E. Grant are so good at playing an odious family you just want to see die horribly even as you find yourself laughing at them. It really has stuck with me. The score is amazing. The ending is a banger. I just recommend it. If you can find a way that is comfortable for you I would recommend giving it a try, but set your expectations for something a little different from your usual A24 film in that while it is quirky it also feels a lot closer to a mainstream creature feature in a lot of ways.
