Glad it’s finally getting a release, if it’s as good as it should be I will offload the blu ray. Other French language titles overdue an upgrade are Death in a French Garden and the long overlooked Roselynne and the Lions.

I went to order the 4K from Amazon UK and they wanted close to $12 in Trump taxes.
I'll wait it out for a US release. |

And what do we think of the cover art? Nobody's commented, which is unusual for this site!
I love it, a hint of the art Deco about it and echoes of the British railway poster style of the 1920s. As I recall, the predominant poster for Diva, in the UK at least, was the one with the bike helmet on the mannequin and Dominique Pinon pictured alongside, which hardly told the story of the movie! We showed it at my school's film society (yes, we searched out an eclectic fare for our viewers, such as Harold & Maude, Amadeus, Rocky Horror and The Fog*, alongside the obvious Jaws/Star Wars/Raiders!), and I immediately fell in love with it. * When we showed The Fog, we opened the fire exits behind the screen and pumped in Dry Ice, which got the girls screaming! ![]() ![]() |
