I just ordered it from the warner store and got a discount. the 5 blu-ray disc set and two "extras" discs was only about 90.00 after tax, and free delivery.

I had to check again to make sure they were blu-ray and not dvd, and they are in fact blu-ray discs for that price.

Do they charge you now or when they are released? If it is now I will wait and spend the 90 later when they are out....

They charged my card now, but the sale is only through the end of September. Here's how I found out:

Warner has Harry Potter 1-5 Limited Edition Giftset up for preorder.

Right now if you use this code JLBM.
It is good for 25% of any purchase through the end of this month.

There price is $110.95 (22.19 per movie)
After Discount $83.22 (16.64 per movie, isn't too bad)

If you find any great deals post them here.

How would you save more money? With the discount at WB it is for $83.21, at Amazon, the first four are for $20 and most likely the new one would be for $30 with their 30% discount off. I agree with you about the case, I prefer the standard BD cases; this is why I did not purchase Royal Space Force. Now my main question is, are theses film in separate cases in one box set, or if they would be in one of those folding paper cases.

Thanks. I've put it in my wish list for the October buy-fest.

If you use your debt card to pay for your order, please keep in mind that items are billed when shipped and funds must be available in your account at that time.

The charge for your order will appear on your credit card bill as "Warner Home Video".
The above quote is from WB Online Sales Help page at their site. So you won't be billed until they ship.

Anyone know if this box set will have a space for the HP6 and HP7 movies?

I wish they had a better description on the BD vesrion and show if it has the Blu-Ray cases or not.

I dunno about these cardboard ones. I like my blu cases.

Doesn't help much. It's all still unknown what is what. If the gift set is cardboard cases, I will go individual.

Some better pic's of the box set can be found at amazon.uk

Link:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Harry-Potter.../dp/B000VS4CXM

If you click on the image, you can enlarge it. you cant do this on the regular amazon site.

If you find any more, let us know, could help people decide on buying this or the 5 movies individually.

The first 4 movies are $20 at Amazon. 4*20 = $80.00
Let's say the 5 movies is $24 after savings.
So total price for all five movies $104

So you are saving more money buy ordering from WB.

Now I agree i prefer to have the standard BD cases, hopefully WB will post the preorder for the standalones before the sale ends. I would cancel my order for the limited Edition and buy the standards.

I don't think the Limited Edition will be separate cases, but i don't know.

I did preorder this from WB’s website; however, I will cancel my order when all 5 will be available for preorder individually. I do not like those cardboard cases.

This is kind of a tough one for me. Part of me wants the box set but I also don't like the stupid little cardboard holders. I kinda want the individual cases but also want the stupid little extras that come with the box set. Luckily I still have a lot of time. I think I will go with the box set for now.

It will be interesting to see if they use a slightly different setup for the Blu-ray case then what is being used for the DVD case. They probably won't, but you never know. Also, if you want to buy the cases separately you could go to http://www.sleevetown.com it may be more economical.

That might be a little bit more difficult, again there could be something in the box set. There are some websites that offer the cover art for download and printing but I am not sure what the site names are, or how long it would take to get them posted.

Well, if you really want this deal, you could always cancel your Amazon preorder.
