Greig Fraser likely isn't coming back. Josh Brolin mentioned on the Kevin McCarthy Podcast that he'll be the DP on the Beatles movies for Sam Mendes.

Definitely not compatible since the DCU Clayface is a shapeshifter as seen in Creature Commandos.

Honestly, that's a lot of assumptions, especially concerning Clayface. We have no idea which version they will go with. But as I said, I prefer Battinson to be separate, as the moment a beloved film/property ties to another that turns out less-than-stellar, it brings all properties down together. And I dont believe Pattinson will be down for an extended franchise that takes him to his 60s. [Unless they give him the kid version of Robin that he so heavily desires, then who knows].

Yeah, I'd love for him to face Panguin. A lowly Latino with no papers selling "pan fresco" on the side of some Republican state highway

Nothing. Just lightly ribbing that they misspelled Penguin as Panguin. Pan en español is bread. Nothing too serious or sophisticated

If they slapped the yellow oval bat symbol onto the suit Affleck wore in The Flash that would be sweet. Batman needs to be big and gritty in the DCU. A carbon copy of Snyder's physically, but younger.

That would be cool to see the yellow/black batsymbol on his chest armor, even though it would affect his stealth a little bit.

I know some say he shouldn't wear any armor, and rely fully on stealth, but he's not a ghost and his shoes aren't silent-proof, so having some armor is a smart move. Batman being a smart guy, not foolish like a certain 00 agent who goes on dangerous missions without even a bullet proof vest. Even John Wick wears a bullet proof jacket.

My biggest want for the sequel is it retains its crime-solving tone from the first movie. I think it was this vibe that set it apart from the previous Batman movies. For me, everything else is secondary, including the villain Batman faces.

Which again I think would probably be the best way to take any kind of "supernatural" villain. Basically their faking being supernatural to further their ends somehow and Batman is in part working to expose them as a fake.

we're getting a Superman sequel before The Batman Part II. This movie is never going to be made.

It's a good thing Batman wears metal bulletproof armor in The Batman or he would be long gone. He's human so he's smart to wear armor. I know some say he should be stealthy but when you're suddenly confronted by a room full of bad guys with knives and guns, good luck using stealth at that point to survive.

I am still surprised this Batman Bruce Wayne, is able to fight off some really tough bad guys with his smaller build. We don't see him working out or training, to see what he prepares with for combat or stealth, but that's maybe where part 2 answers some questions.

My understanding is that the decision to remove Clayface, who was part of this movie's plot, and instead repurpose that for the DCU caused Batman II to need a rework that caused for some of this delay.

But yeah in generally movie sequels shouldn't normally be something a studio wants four or five years to bring to market. Two-to-three is much better to capitalize on momentum gained.

Up to 3 to 4 years is best, agreed. Unless it's Avatar. Then a new film almost every 15 years. Or Tron.
