That is by far the ugliest cover art I have ever seen on a physical media horror release in my entire life and I am not exaggerating even the slightest bit.

if someone must have a steelbook... simply buy this blu ray version and stick the 4k in this case....

personally, I have this blu ray as well as the standard Scream 4k release. I agree with most that this is bottom of the barrel "artwork".....

This one rivals Paramount's silhouette art for Rosemary's Baby even tho that wasn't a steelbook. They're not even trying anymore lol. The studios are under the impression people are obsessed with steelbooks. I used to get that impression but nowadays I see a lot more bellyaching about them than I do "yippee yays". Send the message, folks. Vote with your wallets. Griping on message boards doesn't work.

WM has the back cover for the SB, and they list the artist as: We Buy Your Kids

Which sounds totally ****ed up, and confused me for a moment, but a quick google shows it's two artists from Australia:

I don't really hate their art style, but never in a billion years would I look at their portfolio and be like "yeahh, they'd be perfect for The Howling"

I rushed to order that as soon as I saw the original key art.
I knew a domestic release steelbook would never use it.
My only beef is that I wish they didn't needlessly use a red filter over it.
It's the reason I sprung again for the standard, slipped first SF 4K.
