Seeing some of the recent set photos got me thinking about something. Over the years I've seen and read so many stories about Sarah being very protective of fellow actor's on the set of Buffy and other projects and I think, besides finally believing in the story for a sequel, that's a big part of why she chose to do this. Especially seeing as how she's mainly going to act as an executive producer. This isn't every story, there are definitely more, but here are just some I've seen over the years in a video I found:

Well, I saw the they are trying to bring back Charisma Carpenter. I hope they kind of do. I was in the big fight in '04 who tried to keep her on the show actually.

They're not trying to bring her back, people just keep asking if she is coming back and she answered them on her tiktok saying she has no plans on it and they haven't contacted her. Then all these gossip sites ran with it for clickbait. I'm hopeful she'll come back in some way, but I'm not expecting it to actually happen.

I just wrapped the pilot on the new “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” series, which is set 25 years later. My company is part of developing it. The fandom is so special to me and I’m excited about how that’s going to go into the world.

I think it will happen. There is basically no reason not to, and not only would it be good for the character, and make sense (she's incorporeal now, zillions of ways for her to appear), but also to heal up some bad blood.

I'm pretty sure nearly everyone is going to be back in some capacity, except for the few obvious suspects. The majority of them make a good chunk (if not all) of their living talking about Buffy at cons, so I don't think any of them are going to hold out for unreasonable paychecks, and with Sarah being an EP - I honestly think they are just keeping mum on it all as much as possible so they can draw out the suspense and not crater in fan expectations before they even appear.
