USA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trilogy from Arrow/Warner - 12/16/25

Thought it'd be better to give this release it's own respected thread.

Arrow and Warner/New Line have announced the long-awaited and highly anticipated box set for the 3 original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films!!!

Standard Set: https://www.arrowvideo.com/p/teenage...-ray/17348375/

Arrow Store Exclusive Version Set: https://www.arrowvideo.com/p/teenage...-ray/17348378/

"A shell-shocking saga of mutants, martial arts and New York mayhem, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trilogy brought comic book grit, practical effects wizardry and pizza-fuelled fun to a generation of moviegoers, helping turn four sewer-dwelling brothers into global pop culture icons.

Launching in 1990 with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, director Steve Barron's gritty, high-energy adaptation of the underground comic became a box office phenomenon, fusing martial arts action, streetwise humor and the groundbreaking animatronics of Jim Henson's Creature Shop. The 1991 sequel The Secret of the Ooze is an irresistibly fun second slice: a deep-dive into the turtles' origins where new mutant foes Tokka and Rahzar are thrown in the mix... double the stakes, double the pizza! Rounding out the trilogy, 1993's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III sends the heroes in a half shell back to feudal Japan in a time-travel adventure full of samurai showdowns, ancient legends and comic chaos.

Restored in glorious 4K and packed with extras, this radical set celebrates the legacy of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael in one of the most iconic franchises of the era, blending innovative effects, comic-book heart and early '90s attitude.

Im not pre-ordering till I see the Special Features list on my Birthday the 26th of September.

65 bucks is a bit much for new transfers and commentaries. I already have these movies on a 12 dollar bare bones set so I am good for now.

you might have to wait until WB themselves release a version or someone else does. if i'm correct when boutique labels like these do these type of box set collections its usually because that was the deal with the studio. they arent allowed to release any individually.

i have no idea if arrow has ever released a box set first and then did individuals so obviously its still possible but i imagine its not likely. you see this all the time with the other labels like Scream Factory.

regarding the actual release, i too pre-ordered a copy already so curious to see the details next month. i think it'll be hard for anyone to be disappointed though as it can't be worse than the nothing we've always gotten.

i do wonder if they managed to get David Warner before his passing, that would be pretty cool! i know he's done so much before and after that movie but that's the role i will forever associate him with as it was my introduction to the man. lol

oh i just goggled and he died in 2022? i swear it was last year, man time flies. but maybe they got their hands on the behind the scenes stuff that was produced back then because i do recall seeint interviews on the set with him.

oh and another piece of media that would be cool, that 1991 interview the Turtles did with Barbra Walters....if i recall i was on the subway set for Part 2. or another one, the Oprah Winfrey inteview....though if i recall that was for their music tour and featured their creepy tour costumes but yeah. :P

Just pre-ordered from Diabolik. Was never big on the third film but love the first one and also enjoy the second.

They usually do the boxset first and then individual releases later. Still, there's no guarantee that individual releases will come. It happens on a case by case basis.
