Yes the 3D is weak but it is still 3D and if the 4K disc has decent Atmos audio then I would be interested to mux it onto my 3D copy. But the 4K pre-orders are apparently already being scalped so I may go grey.
Also the proper 4K HDR movie like Aquaman is in decline. Many modern HDR movies are really only just rebadged SDR movies sold for a premium. That's why I sold my copy of Blade Runner 2049 after muxing the Atmos audio. One more reason I'm glad I started watching 3D movies again in place of 4K HDR.
