Hope that doesn't mean he gets killed off right away. I'm not necessarily expecting many, if any, of the older X-Men to make it out alive, but they could easily go the route of setting the stakes by making the new big bad take out the comedic fan favorite (and Deadpool is untouchable- literally and figuratively). Especially as the new X-Men get introduced into the MCU proper, I doubt they want too many loose ends from any pre-existing cast members. I think Channing knows that getting to play the character at all was an unexpected blessing, so any further appearances after D&W are icing on the cake.
