Unfortunately the original movie has been treated poorly by them in the 21st century.
Look at how they treated it before legacy came out. They really didn’t want to acknowledge it. They wouldn’t allow any screenings of the first movie in the months leading up to legacy opening, because They were so afraid that it would negatively impact ticket sales for legacy.

And when they finally put the Blu-ray out they made certain to plaster that “the original classic” allover the packaging and on the disc, to make sure audiences “knew” it wasn’t the same.

Even now they are limiting the double feature screenings to only a handful of AMC theatres and for one night only. They honestly don’t deserve the franchise.

So, did the pre-order go live on Walmart already and is already sold out? Did it go live on Amazon yet? Really impossible to tell with these sites, though usually Walmart removes their listings entirely after an item sells out.

O yeah they were gone within hours of it going up, and **** deep Discount cancelled my order as well ...

Man this pre-order adventure is nuts! Im still kicking myself for missing the Movies Unlimited $33 price point. I got my Barnes & Noble order in for the overpriced $45 each.

When all is said and done, I bet this one will be available all over the place, but FOMO is real, cant risk it!

Thats why a long pre-order runway is preferable, more time for price fluctuations and competition.

The ***** of it is, I have Tron Legacy in 3D and that is the way I'll be watching it, I'm basically just buying that one cuz i have OCD and need to have both steelbooks on my shelf. Plus the fixed CGI of de-aged Bridges is intriguing

Most probably know this but Amazon pre-orders are live for both Tron and Tron Legacy (links below). With them being one of the last major retailer to offer them, I think these will go quite fast once more people find out they are live as I think they went up around 2pm pacific time. $39.99 each.
