I wonder if Joel Kinnaman from David Ayer’s Suicide Squad comes in.

Could also open a door for the Ayer cut.

I have to say, as a working actor and career background actor/stand-in in the Atlanta area, where this was filmed, it was bizarre watching that orgie scene and seeing at least two extras that I’m regularly on set with (including the guy with the slo-mo shot). Imagine seeing your co-workers like that.

I was an extra in a later episode, but I’ll play it safe and not elaborate further (I do keep my clothes on though. lol).

Did the other extras get a bonus or anything?

Almost certainly. I don’t know about this project, but David O. Russell’s Madden movie had a locker room scene that called for nude male extras, and the rate was $1000 for 8 hours (plus overtime afterwords), which is many times more than what we usually get. This being a big-budget studio project with an A-list director, I’m sure it was similar.

I was also an extra on Superman, as a prisoner in the pocket world, although that was heavily cut down in the finished movie. During filming at Trilith Studios, there was a shot where the camera was only on me, and James Gunn called me “far from background” over the microphone. Also as I was waiting at my fitting, Nicholas Hoult walked up to me, shook my hand, and introduced himself. I have nothing but positive things to say about working on both projects, which I definitely can’t say about every set I’ve been on.

That's awesome.

I still need to see Gunn's Superman.

The first two episodes of S2 of Peacemaker have been great, though.

Tim Meadows had me laughing so hard throughout.

That's interesting. Whenever I see a scene like that, I always assume that the majority of the on screen talent is drawn from the adult film industry (and I've seen at least one project where the commentary track indicated that was the case). Although I know the only actor who had a speaking line (Zora) was not from that talent pool.

I think they sometimes do that (Sandy Johnson told me she was chosen to play Judith Myers in the opening scene of Halloween from a casting call specifically seeking women who had worked in pornography because of the nudity required; she had previously posed for Playboy). But not in most cases. For both this and the Madden example, they were seeking regular extras that fit the description and were comfortable with nudity. I was in an orgie scene in an independent movie last year (I would say what it is, but the film only recently premiered at Telluride and hasn’t been released yet), although it was far tamer, with the only nudity being a few topless women. All of those women were paid actresses that were okay with it, and receiving bumps. We had an intimacy coordinator on set. I was paid $25 extra per day to take my shirt off, which ended up being several days for continuity reasons; the day after the party was very important to the story, and my character (pretty featured) was lying passed out on the floor for most of that action. lol

in regard to episode one, is there some kind of actual beef with Gunn and Leto? or is it just more taking jabs because of Leto's SS onset antics, reports over the years of him being a groomer, creep?

It also could be as simple as 30 Seconds to Mars sucks.

eh, the callback to the joke made it seem more than that rather than just a throwaway line
"The Kill" still slaps though

Another good episode. Glad to see Michael Rooker show up always liked him. Tim Meadows with the bird blindness again was funny.

Sorry Ledger Joker but Peacemaker showed another bad ass way to use pencils

Nice to see Peacemaker kicking terrorist ass. The episode title (very spoilery) Funny to see that
[Show spoiler]in the greatest dimension ever that Rick Flag Junior is a dorky joke.
also
[Show spoiler]the first Suicide Squad gets a reference with the Enchantress dating Flag jr. so is that canon also I guess.
