If the next bundle is indeed Transformers One, The Wild Robot, and Wicked, I hope we get some older titles afterwards before we get to the 2025 3D movies

I've seen How to Train Your Dragon in 3D at the cinema and the movie and the 3D was great. But that is also the case with the original, which i still overall prefer.
Hopefully we get the Shifting imax ratio, the movie really benefits from it.

Jurassic Rebirth was "ok" as a movie, but the 3D made it noticably better for me.

Both movies will only be bought and watched again if i can watch them in 3D.
Wicked is a must buy in 3D for me though, and i really hope we get it before the second part comes to the cinemas.
As already discussed, we also have "The Wild Robot" and "Transformers One", which are more likely in terms if their home release time frame. (End of last year)

Transformers One is another movie I've never watched in the feint hope that a 3D version becomes available for me to buy. The Wild Robot is basically a Pixar movie and that includes the average Pixar 3D strength which is low to medium at best. But the 3D in Wild Robot gets better later on and maybe an official copy will look better overall. I've been able to watch Wicked in 3D for some time.

You are in for a treat. T1 rocks! I was an 80s kid and loved watching the cartoons. This movie did them justice. Very upset it didn't do better at the box office. Doubt a sequel will be coming.

Btw, last I heard Turbine had paused new 3D releases because of the tariffs. Has something changed? Is there another batch planned?

Where did you hear this? Turbine will release more 3D Blu-rays for sure but they need to negotiate a deal for them first.

Think about what you are saying. Why would Turbine, a German company, pause 3D releases in Germany because of US tariffs?

The only people that need to pay US tariffs are Americans and people who live in America. International post to America has been suspended while the details are worked out, that's all.

I would love the next batch to include at lease one of these: Wild Robot, Wicked, Transformers One, JW Rebirth, How to train your dragon remake. Surely its time one of the first 3 pop up in a bundle. These are all movies that i saw in 3D at the cinema so i will only buy them if they get a 3D release. Same with Superman, James Gunn pushed the 3D so i watched it in 3D and would get the 3D blu ray, otherwise im not interested in seeing a less immersive version of what i was originally sold on. Fingers crossed for a Warner Bros/Turbine partnership.

P.S No EU company would pause their whole production just because one non EU country had a rise in Tariffs.

Safe to say that this year if we get something else we will get 1 more bundle, we are already in mid September with pretty much 3 months left in the year to go. If we are to get more Paramount titles this soon it should be Jack Ass 3 and Ben-Hur those are way long overdue, 2010 and 2016 respectively.

WB is a goldmine for unreleased 3D. I’m hoping against hope Paramount buys them and opens the floodgates.

Didn't Paramount change their Home video distribution policy earlier this year? Hopefully it doesn't affect the turbine 3D releases.

Yes there are some (very) nice 3D titles locked down at Warner:

- They Shall Not Grow Old (world war documentary by Peter Jackson)
- The MEG 2
- Godzilla x Kong
- Aquaman 2
- Superman
- Minecraft Movie
- Harry Potter (1) & more?!
- Grand Prix of Europe (It's only coming out flat at the end of the year. A real shame. Happy Family 2 got a disc playable in 2D and 3D...)

Hmm a bit of transparency from Turbine on their partnerships would be nice so we know what to expect. Is this something they have talked about before or is it all speculation based on their releases?

Turbine have been very transparent so far, they already announced that there would be a break after the last set of releases so right now everything is speculation.

I have to agree 100%. Turbine is extremely transparent and their videos always provide interesting behind-the-scenes insights and anecdotes. I don't know of any other media company where you can learn so much about the background. Most of the time you find out absolutely nothing outside of press releases. It will probably be a while before there is any new 3D information. But when it does, we're sure to get some more information about what's going on. I'm sure Turbine always says what they can say in advance according to their contractual partners and what won't harm future developments. I think there should be a bit of suspense. I'm patient and open to surprises. I'm just happy when they can say they've successfuly secured a 3D rights package about a few titles again.

Nothing in that means that WB will release new 3D blus after the merger. It might mean more cuts and more streaming or IP selling to other studios to reduce costs or have returns.

Weren't there 2 more 3D movies still to be released after the last batch?

Amen. People from Turbine even post right in this forum and engage with us. It doesn't get any better than that. I am so happy that they are releasing high quality 3D discs.

They could increase returns by going to a Manufacture on Demand model for 3D discs.

Studios decided the future would be streaming - like they do all the time even if they turn it to crap - and are spending millions to enforce it. Turning back to 3D would be calling stupid to those who ended it.

They're leaving money on the table. Revenue from both could be had. Plus, as far as I know (which isn't far), 3D is not widely streamed.
